Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE)
The National Board of Medication Therapy Management (NBMTM) is proud to be a member of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE). ICE is a professional membership association that provides education, networking, and other resources for organizations who work in and serve the credentialing industry. ICE is a leading developer of standards for both certification and certificate programs, and it is both a provider of and a clearinghouse for information on trends in certification, test development and delivery, assessment-based certificate programs, and other information relevant to the credentialing community.
American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
The National Board of Medication Therapy Management is a member of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) which is the United States’ member body of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Founded in 1918, ANSI is an institute that oversees the creation, promulgation and use of thousands of norms and guidelines that directly impact businesses in nearly every sector. ANSI is also actively engaged in accrediting programs that assess conformance to standard.
National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations (NASPA)
The National Board of Medication Therapy Management is an associate member of the National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations. NASPA promote leadership, sharing, learning, and policy exchange among pharmacy leaders nationwide, and provides education and advocacy to support pharmacists, patients, and communities working together to improve public health. NASPA was founded in 1927 as the National Council State Pharmacy Association Executives (NCSPAE).
